Fanar Hotel & Residences

The hotel was really nice and clean. We stayed in a deluxe room with a sea view, which was spacious and even featured a starry ceiling above the bed! The hotel has its own beach with snack bars, where you can grab a bite throughout the day. The beach is beautiful, and the calm sea is perfect for swimming. However, if you arrive later in the morning, you may struggle to find an available sunbed, as many guests reserve theirs by leaving towels. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are fantastic, with delicious food options!

I spent a week in August in Marina Suite with my kids 5, 11, 13 years old. It is Khareef season in July and August, so these months are not hot and calm. We had all inclusive. The breakfast was good, but crowded. Lunches and dinners were quite good and with almost no other people. The swimming pool is nice. One part of the beach is protected and safe from waves (the water is really fresh). We could see fishes and crabs. The main bed was comfortable. But additional beds for kids were old and uncomfortable. Quite place during this period.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast and dinner, and the large territory was perfect for walks, bike rides, and tennis. The sea was easily accessible, so we spent most of our time there. What we especially loved was the water park — it was perfect for us since we were traveling with our six-year-old child.

First: The Hotels The hotel is wonderful and one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited, whether it's the main hotel, Al Fanar Hotel, Al Fanar Club Hotel, Rotana Hotel, Juweira Hotel, or any of the Hawana Salalah hotels. The hotel's location, swimming pools, beaches, green spaces, activities, and proper organization of this entire resort, of this size, with such precision and professionalism in management and providing the highest standards of quality. Second: The Staff There is no way to describe the professionalism of the staff and workers in all the hotel's facilities and departments. They are extremely kind, always smiling, and cooperative. They can be considered friends in one place. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Sienna, who is a wonderful, professional, and kind person. Abu Bakr is extremely kind and helpful to the guests. Hamada is a very cooperative employee. Every employee, from the administration, reception, support staff, car service, room service, restaurant staff, chefs, assistants, club staff, and spa staff, is professional, kind, and friendly. Third: The Rooms The rooms are professionally designed, comfortable, and have everything one could need in a hotel stay. They are of high quality in terms of soundproofing, lighting, furnishings, cleanliness, service, and comfort. Fourth: Food The variety of restaurants and the professionalism of the food are wonderful in every hotel, whether it's the Souq Restaurant, Zafran, Rotana Club, waves , or any of the other restaurants. They are very distinguished in terms of cleanliness. The quality of the food and the variety of meals were so varied that we never got bored. Although our reservation was all inclusive with 3 meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the variety of food and restaurants made you feel like you were experiencing the place for the first time. Great location with beautiful park at the beach. Very good breakfast and comfy rooms.
